California Gubernatorial Recall candidate Larry Elder disrupted a local street carnival in Venice this week. Elder pro-vocatively appeared in blackface to the dismay of the crowd and interfered in an egg-tossing contest sponsored by a beloved local animal rights activist.
Unsatisfied with the chaos of the ensuing melee, Elder went on to disrupt a pellet-gun demonstration by throwing himself between the gun and the target.
“This was an outrageous and violent assault on our rights; fortunately I know California will reject Elder's racism,” said the victim of the assault who was forced to protect her identity with a pink-haired gorilla mask.
