Major League Baseball teams who travel by bus will adopt new routes to avoid racist highways, “built decades ago to serve affluent communities”, according to an MLB spokesperson. While this is expected to add time and expense to travel schedules, the league considers it “an important show of solidarity against the bigotry of current highway access.”
To support green energy, players will depart their bus and tandem bicycle the last mile to the stadium to posture to reporters. Furthermore, teams who travel by airplane will also avoid racist air routes.
