WE CALL OUT GATEKEEPERS ON THE RIGHT, TOO
DENNIS PRAGER: Menacing Dennis is such a staunch supporter of the free press that he suffered a major meltdown over a political cartoon of a sleeved
arm labeled “Rothschilds” holding international financier George Soros on puppet strings, in a conventional and frankly overused trope. As we
all know, one of the world’s oldest, richest and most powerful families has zero skeletons in its countless closets and has never done anything worth investi-gating, it’s unclear what PO’ed Prager. But we do know that said cartoonist’s invitation to a 2019 White House social media summit where Prager was to share the stage was suddenly revoked without explanation. The artist, meanwhile, had the honor of being condemned by both the Ain’t-I-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Flawed Center. We here at Flip City have so far squeezed out a couple of Soroses for your entertainment. (See cover Issue 7, Monsters of the Pandemic, Issue 8 p. 4.) We’re a little too clever for the old puppet strings thing though! We drew hand puppets.
